Experience Summary
I have over twenty-five years of accounting experience in diverse industries including teaching Business Law and Introduction to Accounting at a business college. I have interacted with banking, accounting and insurance professionals enabling me to hone my communications skills. At my current job, I have assisted homeowners with their selection of custom countertops. In this process, I have educated customers on the various choices and the advantages and disadvantages of the different countertop material available.
Teaching Style
I very much enjoyed teaching at the business college interacting with the diverse students. My approach to teaching involved applying the lessons learned to real world situations to show how the subject related to their lives. With the diverse learning ablities of the students, I had to be flexible in my teaching methods. I have am easy going and use humor to help relax the student.
