Experience Summary
As a Pre-K - 12 educator, I have had extensive experience working with children in various capacities. I have a BS in Elementary Education, M.Ed in School Counseling, and an Ed.S in School Leadership. My education and the practical use of this education has prepared me to help children succeed. I was a mathematics teacher for seven years, a school counselor for three years, and a school administrator for fours. I am currently the Implementation Specialist for an early reading program in a large school district.
Teaching Style
I truly believe that all children can learn, and require an IEP (Individualized Education Plan). I see myself as a facilitator of learning and firmly believe children must realize that they are responsible for acquiring knowledge with the appropriate guidance.
