Experience Summary
Though I have no experience as a tutor or teacher in the classical sense, I have always (since high school) helped my classmates with homeworks and studying for test/quizzes. My degree in chemistry is proof that I understand what it takes to learn. Thus, I can extrapolate that to teaching others, with great success guaranteed. My undergraduate research implies that I am capable of adapting. In summary, I am proficient in mathematics (up to differential equations and matrix algebra), chemistry (organic, inorganic, analytical and physical) and physics (classical and quantum).
Teaching Style
I love teaching. And I love helping and mentoring children, as I am able to show through example how to be an intrepid and erudite individual. I am a very visual learner and teacher: I have advanced drawing skills, which allow me to make use of visual aids. Visualizing problems is key to understanding them. I have three younger siblings, one brother of 16 and two sisters of 14. I have helped them with their homework and study skills for most of their lives. This work has led them all to becoming active pleasure readers. I also introduced them at young ages to the magnificence of mathematics - at 13, both of my sisters could perform basic differential calculus due to my teaching. In summary, I am an adaptive, holistic, patient, motivating and inspiring teacher. I make use of working through examples as the ultimate way of conveying concepts and practicing the procedures of problem-solving.
