Experience Summary
As a graduate in Sociology I have learned why people do what they do and a self understanding of human actions. I am a driven individual and strive to be the best in all that I do or present. I want everyone that I know to succeed in everything that they do as well. I have tutored elementary to high school students since I was in high school for 2 summers, as well as on the weekends at Susan B. Anthony. I was part of the math, science, and engineering program in High School, as well as president for my class for 3 consecutive years. In addition, I have research, editing, writing, and grammatical skills and I would be a great critique. I never hold anything back.
Teaching Style
I love the fact that, as an individual I can or could possible change the way kids learn. I usually want the child to feel comfortable, but yet show them who is in charge. Every child learns in different ways, therefore I am always willing to teach in anyway possible to get the child rolling in their studies. If a game or just using objects to help kids learn then we will do so. Every child is unique in their own way and everyone learns differently, no one child is ever the same. We all strive to be the best, but it takes time to be the best, therefore I like to take the time to get to know the individual at a personal and professional level. Their concerns are my concerns, but there is a student-teacher boundry that has to be set. Some rules will be established and learning will be done in a timely manner.
