Experience Summary
I graduated in business administration mainly because I excelled in the area of mathematics ever since grammar school. While I was attending Fresno State, I tutored students in the areas of mathematics, social sciences, English and Spanish. The students I helped were mainly from a program called University Migrant Services, a program that I was part of and helped me a lot at the start of my career. Students I tutored came from different socioeconomic backgrounds of the farm working communities in the valley. I developed a passion for tutoring as I discovered the great need to help out. During the last two years I have tutored my son who is 12. He struggled in the area of mathematics for a couple of months, I began to help him and since he has shown great improvement.
Teaching Style
I am very passionate at delivering instruction on what I am good at. I find myself always getting along with people and being good to them. That is why many of my peers know me for being good with everyone and good with numbers. I enjoy providing the best customer service experience to each student. To me, students are a different challenge and this requires a custom approach to helping them with their particular need. I find teaching to be a very exciting career and my experience until today has been of great results.
