Experience Summary
I have recently graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a bachelor degree in Mathematics, with a minor in Sociology. This allows me to provide proper insight into the field of mathematics. I have two semesters of experience as a Study Group Leader for Math Skills II, where I acted as a Teaching Assistant in charge of 25 students. I have graded quizzes, helped with homework problems, and held test study sessions. In high school I also acted as both a math and spanish tutor.
Teaching Style
I tend to have a very patient and flexible teaching style. If I see that a student is stuck on a particular topic, I take a step back, rewind gears, and figure out a new approach. I am highly determined to make sure that every student gets as much out of their education as possible. Every student has the ability to learn and be successful. Sometimes they just need someone to provide the proper tools that make things click.
