Experience Summary
As a Masters level teacher I was very much driven to achieve a level of excellence in my teaching methodologies. I have earned a BS in Education and a Master of Arts in Education with a Supervision Endorsement, which enabled me to gain understanding in many areas of sequential learning for elementary children. During my 11 years as a public school educator I took more courses in language, inquiry-based learning, and hands on science strategies.
Teaching Style
Working with students one on one is an ideal situation which allows me to help a child fluorish and learn. I am available to help your child find their most comfortable ways of learning, and to construct an atmosphere where they feel comfortable sharing their difficulties as well as their success. Research has shown that children will rise to our expectations, and I will expect, through our teamwork, that your child will succeed.
