Experience Summary
Achieving a higher level of success and excellence has always been a first priority. In high school, I graduated a year early with distinction. I earned my BAS in Graphic Design. I took math up to calculus and trigonometry. I have extensive writing skills in essays and research papers. I have tutored students in mathematics, language arts, reading, english, art, social studies, geography and science. I have worked as a tutor for three years with students who were at varying levels of academic abilities.
Teaching Style
I have tutored elementary, middle school, high school, and college students. I will get your student not just a passing grade, but I will teach them a really structural studying method and time management skill that will be vital to their upcoming scholar days. I have worked with students in a wide variety of settings, including group and one-on-one tutoring. I've always been a quick learner and good at explaining complex materials in an easy and understandable manner. I love to see a child or young adult finally learn to love reading and not detest it as most do. I love when they come to me and say, " This is the first book I have ever really read," it puts a super big smile on my face. I love working with students of all ages. I am patient and understanding. I enjoy helping students discover a passion for subjects they once hated, by teaching through various fun methods! I believe in a strong relationship with your child's school and educators to achieve the desired results.
