Experience Summary
Being a high school English teacher is a career path in which I have always wanted to pursue. I graduated from Cal State Northridge with a degree in English. Upon completion of my degree I took and passed the CBEST test which enables me to be a substitute teacher. I do have previous experience in tutoring students who perform below their grade level. The primary focus of the tutoring that I have done was primarily in Language arts, grammar and reading comprehension.
Teaching Style
Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I am a firm believer that with patience and hard work, mastering a subject is not impossible. To be a good teacher one must be a good learner. I believe that each student learns in their own unique way and it is my responsibility to figure out the best techniques to ensure success.
