Experience Summary
Since graduate school I have been tutoring off and on mostly at the high school level in a variety of subjects, mostly math, through pre calculus, spanish, study skills, test preparation, history, sciences. I have also tutored elementary and middle school students. Although my education is in psychology I have been around teaching all of my life being raised by a school teacher. I am a mother of two small children and understand the importance of a good education, not only with teachers but with supplementary support of tutors and parents
Teaching Style
I love working with all students but the majority of my experience is with high school students and helping to prepare them for college. My goal is for them to see college as an option that regardless of their financial situation that if they work hard and want it badly than they will succeed. I have tutored children with learning disabilities and understand people learn differently so I am able to teach in many different ways to suit the need of each student
