Experience Summary
I have taught K through 12 grades. I have a Bachelors Degree, Multisubject Clear Dredential, a Spanish Authorization and a CLAD endorsement. I have 39 credits above my Bachelors. In the last 19 years I taught ESL to Algebra and just about any other subject. I did a two week K-8 National Education Science Workshop with NASA in 2001. In college I tutored Cultural Geography and while living in West Covina I did Math tutoring for a friend. Teaching is my priority and feel that there is a need for good teachers.
Teaching Style
I enjoy what I do. I love seeing students achieve their goals. The first thing I have always told my students was that there isn't anything you can't do if you want it bad enough. I went back to school at the age of 41 to get my degree. My goal is to provide the student with the best possible education, tempered with understanding and compassion. All children can learn and are capable, if given an opportunity and support. I have always tried very hard to make a difference in my students lives.
