Experience Summary
As an honor roll student, I upheld the highest standards throughout my educational experience. I took advantage of workshops and conferences, which were availed through the college, as well as those through my employers. My emphasis was literacy and my grammatical skills are stellar. Several college professors have encouraged me to incorporate my writing skills in my professional life. I have tutored children of all ages, as well as adults, in English and Sign Language over the span of 4 years. I have also taught Sign Language in community, educational, and home settings.
Teaching Style
I am very passionate about education. I am a life-long student and my enthusiasm for learning is contagious. Each child has learning style and my priority is to discover that of your child's. My teaching approaches are quite varied and my flexibility allows adjustment, according to the needs of the student. I create a safe and fun environment for learning and endeavor to provide a good fit, so as to avail the most effective opportunity for your child's academic success. Emotional, mental, and physical well-being are aspects that I factor into my instruction, as well.
