Experience Summary
I have a strong desire to continue utilizing my critical and inferential thinking skills, interpersonal communication skills (oral and written), comprehensive scope of clinical skills, and knowledge of human development and behavior. I am a forward-thinking, instinctive leader with 5 years counseling experience. I have expertise include highly effective critical thinking skills, prompt adaptability, and consistent execution of effective conflict resolution/mediation. I utilize exceptional understanding of how to deal effectively with people and groups utilizing genuine concern for and sensitivity to others, humility, and the ability to maintain a strength-focused approach. I posses a talent for establishing and maintaining positive, healthy relationships with a vastly diverse population.
Teaching Style
I have worked with children at all different ages, as well as children with largely varying developmental levels. I believe that encouraging children when they do well is absolutely necessary to effective learning. I also learn each child's disposition so that I can develop effective ways to redirect when they are not on the right path. I wholeheartedly believe that to get the respect that comes with a child trusting me enough to learn from me, I must show 100% respect to that child; it is an even exchange. I truly care about children, their well-being, and their futures and I know that when I interact with children, they recognize my sincerity and are therefore able to trust, and learn.
