Experience Summary
As a graduate in both the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from Regis University, I have been very focused on education and the pursuit of knowledge. These degrees have allowed me to understand the many complementing areas of business, English, grammer and the key interactions between the United States and our partners throughout the world. During the last 13 years, I have taught numerous continuing education sessions at my places of employment and have during the last 4 years been teaching with Junior Achievement through their volunteer programs. It was with Junior Achievement that I realized I have a true passion for teaching and have taught subjects as varied as Economics and Business Enterprise to Our Region which led the students through the interactions of the Western region of the United States.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching and interacting with children of all ages. I truly believe that everyone is capable of learning, but a single approach cannot reach all children.
I make myself available for students on an individual basis to help them ensure they are successful in their academic endeavors. I am patient, easy going and considerate of others' feelings. My ultimate goal is to provide the best possible learning experience for everyone. I firmly beleive there are different learning styles for each indivdual, but have had great success with teaching through actual, hands on, experiences. Included in that is constructive feedback and celebration of successes. I firmly believe that a single teacher who truly cares can make a world of difference in the life of a student. I am a walking example of such a case.
