Experience Summary
In the past, I have tutored other students, usually my peers, off and on, and it never fails to provide satisfaction at helping others learn. As a 2009 graduate of Allegheny College, I earned a BS in Biology with a minor in French. I served as a "Peer Leader" for incoming freshman, where I acted in the capacity as a teaching assistant and made myself available to the students if they needed help writing papers, doing research, or with any other academic aspect not directly related to that class. I have helped with English grammar, writing papers, and informally, I have aided others with Biology and French.
Teaching Style
I have a love of learning, and there is nothing better than teaching others to love it, too. I am very patient, organized, and considerate of your child's needs, learning pace, and abilities. I believe that anyone can do well if they have the proper guidance and help. I've been there, and I hope that my experience can help make a difference to your child's education.
