Experience Summary
As a graduate of PLNU, I always new that I wanted the challenge to teach High school. I have always been driven in education, whether is it working with youth in a camp setting or a class room setting. I feel that not everyone works well in a class room and that is okay. I have developed my writing and grammar skills extensively due to my position as a Deputy Sheriff Detention's and Courts. I have tutored many students mostly elementary. I also was called in as a tutor, but to motivate students to do their homework and stay focused. I have tutored in multiple subject areas including, mathematics, science, english, reading, writing and I also have privately coached many sports on the side including basketball, softball, tennis, and soccer.
Teaching Style
I love working with all children. Every child, adolescent, and adult have different learning capabilities. I am here to find which suits them the best. I want to help your child find academic success in all that they do. I believe that all children have the potential to succeed it's finding the method that works best for them. I am here to help. Through motivation and positivity, my goal is to make a difference in the lives of children. Knowing they can succeed, is the first step in becoming successful!
