Experience Summary
My background includes diverse education and experiences from military training,pharmaceuticals,to fashion,film, and entertainment.
I have completed my AA degree in Fashion Design & Merchandising along with producing live shows in Los Angeles for the nightlife. I have also begun creative writing in the film industry and highly enjoy it. The past six months of tutoring with ABC Phonetic Reading School has opened my eyes in revealing how much I love tutoring. English,Vocabulary, and Reading Comprehension have always been a strong area for me.
Teaching Style
Before introducing my teaching style with the student, I first make a detailed observation on where they are at in the subject. I review their stong points and weaknesses. For Intance, If they have pronounciation issues or trouble understanding vocabulary, I will focus my attention to that before moving on to any new or next step. I like to review what was learned last session before starting the new session so it stays fresh in their minds. Patience is most definately a must and knowing that there is a no "one size fits all" approach allows me to be creative in my teaching style for each and every student.
