Experience Summary
Currently, I have been teaching Emergency Medicine to help Reynolds Army Community Hospital maintain 100% proficiency in job qualifications and standards. This includes slides and instructor led courses. I have taught in English in a School to a classroom size of about 30 students in Korea for about 6 months. This required me to make lesson plans and activities and a positive learning environment. At the same time I tutored students in English in a local orphanage. I taught and instructed fellow technicians about one year to increase yield productions in a manufacturing environment. Currently volunteering to tutor student in a program called Army Program Lawton Area Schools and I have also done this in the past but a program called Helping One Child Succeed Today. I also was a paid tutor for one year at ITT Technical Institute while I was attending school. At that time I tutored students in English, Physics, Algebra I and II and electronic theory.
Teaching Style
I have a very fair, effective teaching style that envelopes the idea of the entire classroom as a teaching tool. Using every method to reach every child at his or her own level. When I teach, I feel I am contributing and learning at the same time, this gives me a great feeling of worth. This attitude of worth and self-respect penetrates each student and increases their desire to excel. Grades is not everything attitude, loyalty and trust. Grades improve with effort and to do that the student must choose to want that better grade. I provide the atmosphere for them to do so.
