Experience Summary
In my experience as a graduate, I have had the drive to want to succeed and up lift the young people in my community. With my degrees in Social Work, I have been able to tutor the elementary students at the local after school program. Also, I have written extensive research papers and with this experience, I have the skills to assist with grammatical errors and English. I also share a passion for math and have been able to tutor in this area as well.
Teaching Style
Teaching and working with children is a wonderful experience, they have so many different ways of learning and expressing their feelings. With my academic background, I can provide a patient, safe and secure learning environment. I believe that children are very hands on and visible learners, and given this environment will help them conquer the subjects they need help in. With this being said, children make all the difference in the world, and with the help of a tutor, the world is in the palm of their hands.
