Experience Summary
I graduated from UNR with a BS in Biology. I have gained experience in both classroom and on-the-field settings. During my undergrad study at UNR I tutored General Biology, General Chemistry and some basic math for about 2.5 years. Since my graduation, 5/2007, I have successfully worked and applied my skills in the corporate/industry world.
Teaching Style
During my time spent as a tutor/teacher I learned that I enjoy helping others acheive academic success. Tutoring subjects can sometimes be challenging because each tutoring session may vary. So, I have learned that, in order to be a good tutor and to have a productive tutoring session, preperation and promptness is always crucial. I understand that learning styles and techniques varies from individual to individual. Thus, having an open-mind is always important in order to accomadate for these variations. I think I am a great tutor because I always do it with passion and I always give it 100 percent.
