Experience Summary
I do not possess any formal credentials in the areas of education. However, I have been teaching the difficult task of martial arts, coordination training, and goal setting to children of all ages as well as some with disabilities. I have made an extraordinary commitment to mentoring these fine children on my own since 2003 for the Cape Coral Police (PAL) for Youth Services. I have empowered these children’s lives through an amazing curriculum in which I devised, as well as a tutoring process to ensure good grades in education. I have more passion for the youth in our community than you probably realize. I teach these lessons as a volunteer, and I host clinics in self-protection for the youth and their families free of charge. I would love to further leave a mark on every life I touch from academics on. I hope that you consider me as your new team member. I have an outstanding following and incredible references. Please consider my ambition towards my goals; you will not be let down.
Teaching Style
My style of teaching is very, for lack of a better term, chameleon like. I am firm, yet fun. I am able to register with each and every student on many levels. Not once have I come across a student that has not liked my person from day one. I execute memory drills by focusing on repetitive learning skills. I help my students learn new words every day. I have them keep journals to chart their learning and so that they may see and others may see their progression throughout the years. I have my students wrote and recite essays to the class and parents. I motivate by example and teamwork. I have been awarded “Do the Right Thing” for the heart that goes into my teachings. I portray the ability to accomplish any task. My students are also required to provide community service. I will help pave the way for successful role models and leaders in our community, one heart at a time.
