Teaching Style
I became a teacher because I enjoy mentoring and helping others attain their goals. I have a passion for Mathematics, Software technology and Business applications of either or both subjects. I offer a pupil the twin goals of attaining the competence and character needed to succeed in their chosen field. I demonstrate the need for teacher and student to operate with empathy and active listening while we support each other in mastery of our tasks. My colleagues and principals normally appreciate my suggestions for improving “best practices “. I am an innovator with a passion for excellence. I believe in most fields one needs to attain the stage of good before one seeks better. I shall continue to focus on gaining a greater, more empathetic participation by all in social as well as learning interactions in my classroom. The student needs to assess themselves, and make a commitment to acquire the knowledge. The teacher needs to be empathetic in assessing the student's current understanding to help the student bridge to the new level, by being interesting, entertaining and enthusiastic in a safe learning environment.
