Experience Summary
I home schooling my son through high school. I have tutored him in English, Reading, and Writing. He passed his high school exit exam in the 10th grade on the first try. I have earned my bachelor degree in Management and Human Service Administration. I have earned my master degree in Higher Education Administration and Leadership. I have experience in mentoring. I currently mentor two graduate students. I as well as career development. I excel with the opportunity to lead and empower others, providing the motivation needed for my team members to exceed their own expectations when provided the chance to use critical thinking skills to realize and unlock their potential and achieve personal success.
Teaching Style
I am a life-long learner with a sincere desire to increase knowledge. Having experienced both traditional and non-traditional classroom settings, I have had the opportunity to study classroom management, facilitation, and supervision. Team environments with a focus on conflict management, leadership skills, and effective communication have been great learning instruments providing me the opportunity to learn dynamics resulting in excellent facilitation. I have the ability to think critically, recognizing cause and effect of multiple situations. I have completed a number of Business Administration, Management, and Educational Administration courses with a steady focus on management and leadership skills and styles. I am fascinated by how different people approach different situations and resolve them using various leadership techniques. I have been able to teach others to solve problems and make educated decisions based on what I have learned by watching and practicing different leadership techniques I have seen others use.
