Experience Summary
As a college and graduate student, I strongly believe in education and the fundamental purpose it serves in life. My strong believe in education and my drive for success has enabled me to earn a dual BA degree in addition to a Masters of Communication, and currently in progress a Masters in Teacher Special Education. Through my years in school and as a teacher, I am well versed in grammar skills and rhetoric due to writing an extensive number of research papers as well as creative writing pieces.
Teaching Style
As a teacher, I feel the most important element is being able to relate to your students. Realize that each student is an individual, with an individual learning style is what makes a skilled and successful teacher. I passion is teaching and the kids I teach. Each child is capable of learning, but in different ways. I try to appeal to which way a student learns best- whether this student is visual, or an auditory learner, I incorporate their learning style into my teaching. I am a firm believer in providing students with engaging, hands on lessons. Allowing students to learn through doing is what enables students to experience success in the classroom. By understanding the specific ways in which my students learn, I can make a difference in their lives, every step of the way.
