Experience Summary
I graduated with an AB in Chemistry, from a top college in the country, which has helped me gain a better understanding of mathematics and the physical sciences. I have learned from writing countless lab reports and term papers, in many different areas of study, the importance of grammar and research before one begins a project. I have mentored children throughout community organizations, helping them with everything from homework to life’s problems.
Teaching Style
My teaching style would focus on making sure that all children understand the basics of what they are doing before they can proceed to a more difficult level of study. A strong foundation is the best way to achieve excellence whether studying basic Algebra or Advanced Inorganic Chemistry. I believe in teaching through all different means from lectures, to hands on projects, to outings that are focused on the field being studied. I feel that the best way for a student to learn is to immerse the student with all of the different learning techniques there are. One good role model in a student’s life can really motivate a student and help them succeed in their dreams. This is why I strive to make a difference in student’s lives.
