Experience Summary
As a behavior consultant, I had the opportunity to teach parents and professionals, how to deal with children with Autism and other developmental disabilities. That required me to develop a great deal of patience, and ability to convey complicated materials in an easy to understand manner to my clients/students. I have also tutored English, Psychology, Hebrew, and arithmetics to kids of all ages. Teaching and tutoring is something I do with a relative ease, and in a personable manner that appeals to my students, and gets them to try harder with a smile on their face.
Teaching Style
I was always drawn to working with kids of all ages. My teaching style is very flowing, yet structured and organized. I make sure that I go over the necessary materials, and at the same time paying attention to the specific needs of the student. I run the lesson in a personable manner, yet makes sure that the child/student is focused and on board. It is important for me to get feedback from the student, as well as from his parents, to make sure that they feel they receive what they were hoping for.
