Experience Summary
I have always had a love for science, which prompted me to pursue a BS in biology and MS in microbiology. While doing so, I was able to acquire experience instructing biology labs for undergraduate students. After graduate school, I gained a stronger understanding of science while working in clinical and research microbiology labs.
Teaching Style
I like to teach all age levels. I try to teach in a way that allows them to learn best. Every student has their own way of learning, some are more visual while others are more text driven. I feel that educators play an important role in helping students figure out how to learn best and motivate them to want to continue learning more. I am very patient and understanding, which are also key elements for a child to feel comfortable to learn.
