Experience Summary
As an English teacher in Incheon, South Korea, I prepared lesson plans on a daily basis and led in the classroom to foster a creative, fun, and educational environment. I chose to go to South Korea to explore a new culture, travel, and learn a new language after finishing my BA in Political Science (International Affairs) and Global Studies, with a dual concentration in Russian Languages and Literature and Southeast Asia Area Study. I have extensively edited English as a second language essays at the TEFL level as well as worked as a native speaker for ESL dialogue tapes.
Teaching Style
I have a lot of fun working with children of all ages. My goal is to increase your child's confidence in his or her writing abilities, as writing well is the key to academic and career success. Learning to write should be relaxing and fun, not a chore, and I am certain my love of writing will help your child learn to communicate more efficiently.
