Experience Summary
As a current college student, I have been tutoring since my freshman year (currently a rising senior), I started out at J.T Williams Middles school, where I tutored 5 students (in an after school program) which included English, Math, and helping the study for test. I also played a big part in the students personally mentoring them as well because I make everyone around me feel comfortable. My current degree I'm seeking is Health Education Ever semester I must complete 40 teaching hours. I have taught since my sophomore year sixth and seventh graders health. I have also volunteered in Project Challenge of Charlotte where I was a mentor also helped the students get the SAT/ACT prep courses that they needed, Also got some accepted in college. The only thing that I truly desire is for each Child to have the same Experience and Chances that I have.
Teaching Style
Teaching is a talent however; I teach according to the student I am working with once I know his or her style of learning I then conform to how they are in order to better assist them. I believe that every child is capable of succeeding and no one should be doubted. Four simple words "you can do it" may mean a world of difference to that child and inspire them. So therefore I just want every student to succeed and the fact that I can change one Child's life makes a world of difference because their story can change hundreds to thousands and even millions.
