My background includes working in business. I have sold products for a chemical company and I have done sales, management and labor for an advertising company. Part of my job responsibilities was to set up the sales and help design the ads for the company.
I feel that I have strong communication skills. I have been in education for over 18 years. My background in education has allowed me an opportunity to work with children, parents, and administrators.

Teaching Style
I have been teaching for over 20 years. I believe that they key to good teaching is connecting the lesson to the studnet's lives. If you can make it interesting and relevent to the people then you will be a much more effective teacher. When you teache history connect othe present. For example, when a teach about the plague I compare it to aids. This way students can understand what it was like for the people whoi went through having the plague and not only were they dying but they were condemmed as well. Good teaching is cnnecting to your studnets.
