Experience Summary
With a B.A. in Journalism, I have written for radio, TV, national magazines and several newspapers. I have worked with college-age and adult students teaching them English speaking and writing skills. In pursuing my Master of Education in TESOL, I have learned how to teach students about grammar, writing and reading. I will receive my Masters of Education in TESOL this Saturday, May 2nd. I enjoy working with ESOL students of all ages.
Teaching Style
I have a communicative approach to learning. I feel it is important for a student to actually use the skills he or she is learning in communicating with others. I believe in order to teach effectively a teacher must find out the students' learning styles. All students can learn if their individual needs are focused on.
