Experience Summary
After completing my BBA in Marketing, I began teaching for the Bradford Union Career and Technical Center. I taught business and systems technology to inmates at a state prison for approximately 2 1/2 years.
After leaving the Career Center I opened my own business which I currently run. In the past I have also been a marketing consultant and have taught entrepreneurship and business skills at workshops.
I am currently pursuing an MA in Applied Economics that I plan to use to teach Economic Development at the College level.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and motivating people. Learning is very important for me and I believe that all people should receive a well rounded education. My style of teaching is that of discovery, where I help students learn from their mistakes. I like to take them down the path of self-discovery where they feel safe enough to make mistakes but, more importantly, learn how to think critically for themselves.
