Experience Summary
Due to my extensive background in languages & cultures, I have been able to address individual learning and studying needs quickly, effectively, and definitively. As a multicultural linguist in the field of education, I have been on the forefront of curriculum design and I have presented at five TESOL conferences. Furthermore, my deep-structural understanding of a language's grammar allows me to analyze linguistic needs and perspectives inductively.
Teaching Style
Teaching and showing are synonymous and in some languages it is the same word. I am not an instructor. As a teacher & educator my principal aim is to clarify objectives and show the student (client) how s/he can reach her/his goals. I facilitate the process profesionally as well as wholeheartedly. From a personal perspective, I feel good about what I do ONLY when it is validated by the student's satisfaction.
