Experience Summary
I have recently graduated from college with the skills and knowledge of how to teach children. I have earned a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I have been student teaching for the past year. However, I have also completed several practicums within the school district. I have worked with children my entire life as a nanny, a coach, and volunteer.
Teaching Style
Teachers need to be well versed in being able to teach a lesson in every learning style. A teacher must be able to identify each student’s personality and niche for learning. Research has proven that students learn in a multitude of styles. It is vital for a teacher to take the time and assess how each student learns best. An effective teacher will then apply that information into every lesson to insure quality learning. Teachers must bridge the gap and provide opportunities for every child to be successful. By using Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligence a teacher can pinpoint the style in which the child learns best.
