Experience Summary
I am a college grad who has tried different careers from tech support,tennis coaching ,elementary education. I was just laid off from my tech support job and planning to get back into the education field. I have a strong Spanish background since both parents are of Cuban descent and my dad was a Spanish professor. I am also a former college tennis player and I do a lot of coaching on the side including coaching my own daughter. I also have taken elementary education and have done a practicum. However, I am planning to get a special ed license and hopefully use my Spanish skills as well.
Teaching Style
I have always had teaching in the back of mind when I was a tech support analyst. I enjoy teaching tennis to kids but would like to combine it with some classroom teaching in either Spanish or Special Education. I am very patient but also encourage kids to strive and believe in themselves. I have coached several kids and helped my daughter with her homework and found if they believe in themselves anything is possible.I can give back to society since I have been blessed with such a good life.
