Experience Summary
Education is the key to success. This statement was always something my parents told me growing up. I have always wanted to achieve and master the excellence in education. I started my career earning a BA in History to learn the passions of how the world has come to be. I also worked hours in achieving my certification in secondary education. I had to cut my student teaching experience short because I had personal and financial reasons. I have learned grammatical skills from writing research papers. I am able to tutor students in seven subjects, including world history, united states history, psychology, anthropology, geography, sociology, and economics
Teaching Style
I have a passion to teach high school students the beauty of education. I believe the children have the potential to learn with my differentiated activities to accommodate their needs. I am a very patient and caring individual who will devote her life to teaching children. I am a strong believer in teaching through direct instruction, graphic organizers and cooperative learning. I also teach children through questioning to keep them thinking and responding. I believe that teachers can make a difference in this world to the students they teach.
