In 2001, I worked as an English teacher at Colton High School until 2004. While attending Azusa Pacific University, I worked as a special education tutor for Colton Joint Unified through 2006.
I am currently working as a substitute for San Bernardino County Schools. In the past, I worked as a literacy tutor at The Colton Library, as a volunteer for three years.
Teaching Style
I love working with students of all ages and never tire of encouraging all students to work beyond their potential and always challenge themselves. I am available to assist people of all ages to reach their personal goals. Children learn best in a safe and comfortable atmosphere, however, adult non-readers need a safe haven in order to work to their highest potentials, also.
I am an extremely patient and upbeat personality, and never hesitate to answer all questions from any age students. I love to share the challenges with my students and look up information together on the computer and/or in their textbooks.
