Experience Summary
After graduating from the College of Education at Florida Atlantic University with honors, I taught in Broward County from February 1979 until retiring in June 2003. During this time I gained extensive experience working with students from a variety of backgrounds and academic levels. In November 2006, I came out of my early retirement to teach second grade at Boca Raton Charter School, an International Baccalaureate School. I am certified to teach grades one through six and I have ESOL certification. Currently, I teach English to adult speakers of other languages at Spanish River Community High School.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching and interacting with all children. I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways. I want to help your child succeed academically. I am patient and considerate. My goal is to provide your child the best education possible. I firmly believe in learning through discovery and in providing a hands-on approach to learning. I believe all children can achieve their potential if given encouragement and appropriate learning experiences. I strive to make a difference in all of my students' lives.
