Experience Summary
Starting my Junior year of High School and continuing until graduation I was a tutor for Algebra which allowed me to interact with students, assist in teaching, and focus on the students that needed more support to reach their full potential. Continuing into college I often led study groups, helped other classmates to better understand the material, and participated in volunteer work to interact with children. I excel in Math, Science, and Business. I excel in Math, Chemistry, Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology, and Business.
Teaching Style
"What do you want to be when you grow up?" The life long question...I can remember responding with teaching. Life throws you curves, and I ended up in Business. I still have the desire to educate others and want to dedicate a part of my life to that dream.
Each child has a unique way of learning. The key to success is identifying the best techniques. Once you find the correct methods, then the child can become better educated. I will strive to find the correct style, add enthusiasm, and find a way for the child to relate. I will create a system of recognition and goals. Structure helps motivate and encourage people. All children have their strengths and weaknesses. I believe it is important to emphasize on the strengths while improving on the weaknesses. I want to show my strengths and make a difference in a child’s life.
