Experience Summary
I have tutored many students from many walks of life and enjoy the confidence they gain when they improve their grades. After my first two years of lackluster studying at the University of Mississippi, I had gained bad study habits that needed to be reformed. I attended tutoring sessions regularly at the University of Memphis and my grades consequently improved. I enjoyed the boosted level of confidence I gained as I realized the material I was studying was not impossible, and I strive to teach other students the same principle.
Teaching Style
I enjoy the challenge of tutoring students struggling with a subject. As a student who had much trouble understanding math and biology, I learned various techniques over the years to become a better thinker and researcher in each discipline studied. I wish to teach others how they can accomplish the tasks in their subjects and that it is not a question of whether they are smart or not.
