Experience Summary
During my college career at the University of Florida, I excelled in all areas, including general education and tracking courses for my major. I was deemed Valedictorian for the spring graduating class in 2008 with a 4.0 GPA. As a senior, I was chosen as a teaching assistant for Research Methods in Criminology. I gave lectures, ran lab meetings of 50 students, held office hours, aided students with homework and research projects, and assisted with other daily errands. My expertise is relatively eclectic, as I perform well learning and teaching Math, English, Chemistry, and Psychology (and Criminological studies). One of my written works was chosen for publication during my four year stay at the University of Florida, and I have years of experience writing intelligent and eloquent research papers. My professional experience is matched by my personal experience. I am the oldest of seven siblings, and I am no stranger to tutoring virtually every subject to my family members.
Teaching Style
I believe I teach best with 6th grade-college level students. I am enthusiastic, energetic, and optimistic about teaching and learning. I am a very patient and empathetic teacher, and I am known for my passion for learning.
