Experience Summary
As a New England college and University of FLorida graduate, I was very much driven to achieve a level of excellence in education. I have earned a bachelor degree, BA in French with minor in German, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of language learning and acquisition. In addition, I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers and laboratory reports. For eight years I have taught adult students in English, grammar, reading and writing at the local community college. Last year I taught English language skills at Shenyang University in the PR China.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with adults. I believe everyone can learn as long as they want to and put their minds to it. I am available to help adults find academic success. I am patient, easy going, and considerate. My goal is to provide the best education possible. I am a firm believer in teaching through discovery. I believe adults can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate encouragement and learning experiences. A good educator can make a world of difference to an adult's education. I strive to make a difference in all of my students' lives.
