Experience Summary
As an HBCU graduate, I was driven to succeed at a very high level. I started my career working for several technologically based companies, which gave me insight in using the mathematics and computer science. After 10 years of doing the IT work, I decided to change careers and become a teacher. During the last six years, I have tutored students in mathematics and sciences. I have recognized that teaching and tutoring were my passions.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with all children. I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways. I am available to help your child find academic success. I am patient, easy going, and considerate. My goal is to provide the best education possible. I am a firm believer in teaching through discovery and in providing a fun approach to learning. I believe all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings and learning experiences. By being a good educator, I know I can make a world of difference to a child's educational experience. I strive to make a difference in all of my students' lives.
