Experience Summary
As an Engineering major I tutored students in Math for 2 years to pay for my education. The subjects that I have taught include Calculus, Trigonometry, Algebra, Geometry and Arithmetic, grades 8 through 12. I am familiar with GED requirements. At the University level I have taught undergraduates at George Washington University in Basic Circuits Theory and Electrical Labs for 3 semesters. Teaching Style
My teaching style is to review the fundamentals. If I find deficiencies, I address these first. I then introduce the subject core using applications that the student can relate to. I get students to participate in solving problems by working through the steps in turn. I keep track of student preparation for accreditation by giving home work assignments. I keep notes on lessons and student progress. While offering words of encouragement, I keep the student informed about the progress and indicate that there is still time for excellence.
