Experience Summary
Through my education and experience in working with young people, I have been fortunate enough to utilize my communication skills to assist young people with emotional needs learn math and english in a creative but producitive way. I also have taught parents of high school students social and communication skills in an effort to positively communicate with their children.
Teaching Style
With my background in social work and facilitation, I have learned that flexibility and patience are critical when teaching young people. Each session with a young person involves meeting the child where they arere at, honoring and praising what they do possess, and then moving forward to areas that may be a bit more challenging.
