Experience Summary

I received my bachelor's degree in 2002 and have been teaching middle school math ever since. I have experience tutoring students ages 5 - 17 in one-on-one and in settings such as Sylvan Learning Center.

Teaching Style

I love math and strongly believe that mathematical thinking and problem solving skills are essential to everyone. With elementary age students, I stress the importance of computational fluency through repetitious practice. With older students, I stress critical thinking with apply their basic skills to everyday problem solving.
