Experience Summary
Coming from a family of educators has greatly influenced my admiration and passion in education. This passion has in-turn helped me earn my bachelor in Criminal Justice and now provides fuel as I strive to earn my Juris Doctor. My life long journey in education has sharpened my communication, writing and teaching skills. Furthermore, my exposure to a variety of teaching methods, including my fluency in Spanish, gives me the opportunity to communicate with my students in distinct ways and ensuring me it is tailored to their individual learning style.
Teaching Style
I believe any child has the ability to do anything in the world if they are given the opportunity and necessary skills. Many times educators falter because they have been teaching so long that they forget a student’s mindset is different. I believe that a great educator will listen to the needs and strengths of the student directly from the student to help detect what is preventing the student from completely mastering a particular skill. This is why I incorporate all learning styles into my teaching not for the purpose of being redundant but to allocate the best learning style and expose the student to other undiscovered learning styles. My goal is to provide the best education experience for our future leaders.
