Experience Summary
I have tutored for Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Circuits, Geometry, Algebra, and Calculus at J Sergeant Reynolds Community College and Smart Solution Tutoring. I was a Teacher Assistant in Calculus I & II at Virginia Sate University. I currently work as an Engineer Consultant for academic and industrial clients. At the Digi-spired Research Assistant Longwood University’s Institute for Teaching through Technology and Innovative Practices, I assisted in the teaching of interactive game design and computer programming skills that lead students in the field of computer sciences. While at Virginia State University, I supervised and mentored engineering undergraduate students in a variety of engineering disciplines during their summer internship program. I am a hands-on active tutor, mentor, roll model, and inspiration to all students I work with.
Teaching Style
Although my main career choice was not as a teacher, I still love to tutor. Working with students helps to keep me fresh with the material I’ve learned and it also helps my students understand the material for their classes. My patience and care for teaching never dissipated. I have been very constructive during my sessions and I provided a variety of day to day visualization for my tutees.
