Experience Summary
Having been a secondary school educator for so many years, I have observed the changes in trends in teaching as well as in learning. I have adapted my personal views to change with the trends so that I could incorporate novel techniques and personal creativity to enable all students to achieve at least to the height of their abilities. I have learned in corporate computer technogy to maximize efforts to reinforce students' efforts to use available resources to help them learn better and faster at all levels.
Teaching Style
I prefer inductive teaching rather than imposing lectures. An interactive style enables students to feel they are a part of the process and it personalizes the activities so that a feeling of success is ever present to solidify the foundations upon which to build a substantial knowledge base. I take the students from where they are to where they could be and urge them with positive feedback to reach goals they might have felt were otherwise unattainable.
I treat them with respect which is returned without reservation.
