Experience Summary
I have taught preschool,elementary and adult students for the past 8 years. As a preschool teacher, I developed my own curriculum and taught 3 year olds. I also worked for four years as a elementary teacher for Douglas County School District, in which I was responsible for organizing and following state and district K-2 curriculum. More recently, I have been employed at Family Support Council of Douglas County to teach adults in a variety of classes. I designed my own parenting and support classes for adults.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and believe it is my calling in life. I do believe all children can learn, but in different ways.I look forward to teaching your child in a customized manner, which best meets their needs and learning style. My goal is to help all children reach their full potential, whatever that may be. I use a variety of techniques to help children reach their goals and keep myself updated on new theories yet I also feel comfortable using many tried and true techniques as well.
